Nestled beautifully in the lush Cotswolds hills lies this stunning wedding venue Upcote Wedding Barn, which became the final destination for Nick & Emma before they became man & wife.
Emma & her bridesmaids, Aimiee, Amy & Sam excitedly, all got ready at her parents home in Gloucester which is a stones throw away from the wedding venue itself, while Nick on the other hand prepped at the wedding venue with his best men & ushers.
I recently did an engagement shoot of the lovely couple at South stack lighthouse in Anglesey & couldn't believe how fast the wedding came round.
The weather was fantastic & the sun shone throughout the day, it wasn't long before Emma turned up at the venue while Nick, nervously waited at the alter eagerly waiting for a glimpse of Emma.
The moment came & the room went silent as Emma entered the room, all eyes were fixated on her as she walked down the aisle with her dad beaming with joy.
After Nick & Emma said their vows there was plenty of confetti throwing, everyone lined the path of the barn, armed with confetti poppers in hand ready to aim & take fire at the new Mr & Mrs Ramsden.
There was plenty of garden games on the grounds to keep Nick & Emma’s guests occupied such as throwing the balls in to the bucket, archery to boules, both the children & adults loved it & kept everyone entertained.
After all the fun & games & a few drinks later it was wedding breakfast time, which also meant it was time for the speeches.
I spent a little more time with Nick & Emma after the wedding breakfast as we explored the Barn at Upcote’s ground. We discussed their honeymoon plans & I learnt they were jetting of to Cancun in Mexico (I was so jealous).
We came across a stunning lake right by the main farm house so we took the opportunity & took lots of pictures before we retreated back to the barn just in time for the first dance.
