Abel's baptism began in the beautiful St Mary's Church in Whitegate in the heart of Cheshire. There wasn't a cloud in the sky, the sun was shining & it was a gorgeous spring day.
The church service started at 1 o'clock & as guests started to arrive I took the opportunity to take some shots of them eagerly waiting for the afternoon to begin.
After spending some time outside in the sun it was nice to walk into the cool airy church to capture the baptism. It was a traditional service, filled with lots of family & friends, some who had travelled from further afield to witness Abel getting baptised.
The vicar's personality filled the crowded room with joy & laughter as he led the baptism with his guitar & singing hymns such as "All thing's bright & beautiful" throughout the service.
Abel was good throughout the baptism & not once did he get up-set, even after having water poured on him it never bothered him in the slightest as his guests watched on.
The venue for the after party was at Delamere Manor with its breath-taking views from the main house you can see the canopies of Delamere Forest in the near distance.
Once home to Gary Barlow & now transformed into a stunning wedding & event venue, Delamere Manor is one of Cheshire's hottest venues around & with views like this who is to argue otherwise.
