I was really excited when Jen messaged to suggest that we shoot their engagement at Tatton Park. I hadn’t been there for a while and it’s such a beautiful place to visit and photograph.
We got to Tatton early and it was really quiet, it almost felt like we had the place to ourselves while we were walking around.

Alexandra & Scott // The Lake District Elopement Wedding
As far as Covid weddings go this has to be one of the most beautiful.
Alexandra & Scott decided to elope to the Lake District to tie the knot with very limited guests; they only had 4 family members (and one on the way) to witness their vows.
Their epic elopement love story began in one of my favourite little town's in the Lakes Penrith, before heading over to the picturesque Ullswater where we got some beautiful shots by the lake. Of course it didn’t take long before it started to rain though & we got soaked, but it added to the adventure & atmosphere of the day.
Zoe & Phil // The Epic Lake District Adventure Engagement Shoot
What a weekend I had capturing Zoe & Phil’s epic elopement adventure engagement shoot around the beautiful Lake District in Cumbria!
We covered a fair bit of ground while shooting around the beautiful Lakes from climbing the steep lakeside hills to capture the epic landscape to romancing around Brougham Castle in Penrith & walking along the nearby river Eamont banks to get that perfect picture. We ventured & trekked through the fields above Ullwater & came across some beautiful white horses peacefully grazing before we made our way to the jaw dropping Ullswater for a barefoot stroll in the lake.
Taking A Trip Down Memory Lane...
Cottons Hotel & Spa Knutsford - Shaun & Rebecca
It was the 3rd March, & the time had come for Rebecca & Shaun's wedding at the Cottons Hotel & Spa in Knutsford Cheshire. It was also the week that the "Beast from the East" had arrived bringing with it bitter winds, heavy snow conditions & sub-zero temperatures, but that wasn't going to put a dampener on the day going ahead as planned.
Since shooting Shaun & Rebecca's engagement shoot at Marbury Park, I had the pleasure of hearing some exciting news, Rebecca was pregnant & would be in her third trimester during their wedding day, completing their family & making the wedding day extra special.
After a busy morning chilling & prepping for the day ahead (and a few pre-nervous drinks later), Shaun was dressed to impress along with their son Rhys & best man Matt, while the ladies were relaxing & getting ready in the bridal suite making themselves look beautiful & being pampered.
The ceremony took place at The Cottons Hotel & Spa & there after day ran perfectly from start to finish & everyone's emotions were running high. There were lots of laughter & tears as the day unfolded.
It was a fun & relaxed wedding & I was made very welcome by family & friends as I mingled in & captured candid shots of Shaun & Rebecca's friends & family.
It was a pleasure shooting Shaun & Rebecca's wedding & witnessing them tied the knot & dance the night away.
I met lots of characters, which made the day one I won't forget anytime soon, & would like to take the opportunity to thank Shaun & Rebecca for having me photograph their special day.
